This time on Mod-Tech Talk we will be discussing types of Registration Sensors and their applications. Choosing the right registration sensor for your process is critical to registration accuracy. There are many types of sensors and technologies used. We cover the typical sensors we see day to day while setting up converting processes for many different industries and applications.

PCAM and PCAM Setup
This time on Mod-TechTalk we discuss PCAM and PCAM Setup. PCAM is optional feature of the Delta Mod-Tech HMI that allows die tooling, cross seals, and sheeter dies to make different length parts using the same tooling.
The PCAM or position cam, allows the axis to move at different speeds throughout its rotation. When setup properly, the tooling can speed up or slow down between cuts and match the web speed to perform the cut. Watch the video above to learn more about PCAMing and learn how to setup a PCAM process.
Die to Die Sync Registration Setup Instruction
Like we did with Re-Registration Setup, we’ve put together a written instruction with step by step directions on how to setup a typical Die to Die Sync process. We hope you find this to be a valuable resource when you’re setting up a new process or possibly training a new operator. This instruction should be used as a supplement to your machine user manual.
